Fees as of 1 July 2022

WFMP is a private billing practice, fees are payable at the time of consultation.  We accept cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa or Eftpos. For your convenience our reception team can process your Medicare rebate immediately upon payment.

  • Short consultation: $85.00 item 23  (Medicare Rebate $39.75)
  • Telehealth consultation: $85.00 item 91891 (Medicare Rebate 39.75)
  • Long consultation: $150.00 Item 36  (Medicare Rebate $76.95)
  • Repeat scripts/referral: $20 (no rebate) must have been seen by your GP in the last 3 months


Practice fees are displayed in the waiting room. Additional fees will apply if a procedure or vaccination is done by your doctor during the consultation such as minor surgery and dressings.

Should you no longer require your booked appointment please ensure the booking is cancelled in sufficient time to transfer it to someone on the wait list. Should you fail to cancel an appointment that you no longer need you may receive a bill of $30.00 for not attending

All outstanding accounts will incur a surcharge to cover the costs of debt recovery.

Repeat prescriptions and referrals without an appointment may be given as long as this is in your best interest (such as maintenance treatment of long-standing conditions). Prescriptions will only be given without consultation if the medication was prescribed by a doctor who is working at this practice and you have been seen by one of the doctors in the last 3 months. Please note that back dating referrals are not permitted. Turnaround time for repeat scripts and referral request is 2 business days.

Consultations for Veterans and some pensioners may be bulk-billed at the discretion of the treating doctor.

Once you  have paid your account in full, we can submit the claim to Medicare on your behalf, via a secure Internet connection. If you have given your bank details to Medicare you rebate will be paid into your nominated account within 2 working days. You can register online at www.medicareaustralia.gov.au/online or by visiting your local Medicare office. For your protection, the practice does not submit or retain any patient banking information.
